Saturday marked the first live show of this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, and alongside the contestants, fans were also excited to see Claudia Winkleman (and her wardrobe) back on our screens. For her season debut, Claudia and her stylist Sinead McKeefry put together a chic menswear-inspired look, which included a pair of black tuxedo trousers and a white silk shirt with a black tie.
We couldn’t help but think how effortlessly sophisticated and versatile the trousers are, and we managed to track down the exact pair she was wearing on the show, which were Me + Em’s Tux Slim Crop Trouser. Currently there’s only sizes 10 and 16 in stock in the £195 trousers, so we managed to track down the perfect lookalike that’ll not only save you money, but gives you a full range of sizes.

At Nobody’s Child the Black Tuxedo Cigarette Trousers are a much more affordable £85, and are currently still in stock in all sizes from a four to 18. However, they’re selling quickly (we imagine Claudia’s outfit has something to do with that) with one pair snapped up just 13 minutes ago.

Just like Claudia’s Me + Em trousers, the Nobody’s Child pair have a tailored cigarette style with a high waist and loose fitting but tapered silhouette. The Black Tuxedo Cigarette Trousers also feature the signature satin stripe down the sides with a slightly cropped length which is perfect for pairing with either a pair of killer heels or some loafers for the office.
The tuxedo trousers are a deceptively versatile pick for your wardrobe, and you can wear them everywhere from the office to dinner to a lunch date. You can style them similar to Claudia with a fitted shirt and heels, or pair with an oversized knit and trainers during the day.
We also spotted several other pairs elsewhere, with Monsoon’s Ava Tuxedo Wide Leg Trousers Black currently slashed from £75 to £52.50, although sizes are selling quickly with sizes eight, 20, 22 and 24 the only ones currently in stock. If you want some extra sparkle, Whistles’ Black Quinn Sequin Stripe Trousers are now on sale for £89 down from £149 and have a slightly wider leg style.
You can also head to the high street and pick up H&M’s Crease-Leg Tuxedo Trousers which are now just £31 rather than £49.99 – although you’ll need to be quick to get them for that price as H&M’s 15% off sale ends tomorrow. They have a longer, wide leg silhouette and are great for a slightly more relaxed look.
For Claudia’s exact look, you might be lucky enough to snap up her Me + Em Tux Slim Crop Trouser in your size. But if not, Nobody’s Child’s Black Tuxedo Cigarette Trousers are the perfect alternative for stealing her menswear look.
